The new Caliber 9F85 is a robust quartz movement rated to +/-10 seconds a year, an incredible level of accuracy made possible via the numerous technological innovations implemented here. This new movement has a function that allows the hour hand to be adjusted independently without stopping the seconds hand, which preserves the movement’s high precision and makes this watch a great traveling companion.
Measuring 40mm across, the case of SBGP013 features perfect mirror-finished surfaces created using Zaratsu polishing and combines them with hairline-finished planes, resulting in eye-catching contrast. The deep blue dial is adorned with multi-faceted indexes and features Grand Seiko’s large diamond-cut hands for maximum impact and legibility.
